Responsible Jewellery Council

Responsible
Jewellery Counci

Through PGI’s membership, platinum as a jewellery metal is represented in the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC). The RJC Code of Practices is the only International Social and Environmental Accreditation and Labelling Alliance (ISEAL) industry-wide standard.

Founded in 2005, the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) is the world’s leading standard-setting organisation for the jewellery and watch industry. It promotes standards that underpin people’s trust in the worldwide jewellery and watch supply chain.

United by a shared belief that responsible business is good business, the RJC is working together to create a globally sustainable future for the jewellery industry.

The 2030 Agenda demands effective collaborations between RJC members and partners in order to achieve the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
